What is the difference between normal SiC insert and Diamond insert?

  • The molecular structure is different. The traditional silicon carbide is 3C-SiC, while the Diamond cartridge is 6H-SiC.
  • Diamond Insert is composed of nearly 99% Silicon Carbide, Original SiC Insert is composed of about 90% Silicon Carbide and 10% other components such as Iron, Nickel and Carbon, etc.
  • Diamond insert has better thermal conductivity.

How to distinguish a (D-class) SiC diamond from a regular SiC? You will find out by illuminating them with your mobile phone.

The diamond insert is only compatible with JCVAP chambers, including the RBA 5D chamber and the ICA 5D V2 chamber. Not compatible with the official Peak Pro chamber
