Hybrid heating system - precision cannabinoid extraction

At the heart of the Frolic is a 120-watt stainless steel heater, operating in a hybrid system with convection dominance. Hot air flows through the dryer, while the walls of the 6000-series anodized aluminum chamber provide a complementary dose of heat by conduction. The result is an even extraction with no hot spots, which is crucial for medical vaporization - allowing for reproducible dosing and full utilization of the cannabinoid/terpene profile of the dried product.

The 120W heater maintains a stable temperature regardless of the intensity of the draw - even at a maximum flow rate of 25 l/min, there is no temperature drop. This means that extraction remains effective both with a slow draw on low temperatures (175-195°C, terpene profile) and with a fast, powerful on-demand draw on higher settings (210-240°C, full THC/CBD extraction).

Insulated PEEK air pathway - medical grade purity

The entire Frolic air path is made of CNC-milled PEEK (polyetheretherketone), a high-performance engineering polymer used in medical implants, surgical instruments and the food industry. PEEK complies with FDA standard 21 CFR 177.2415, is chemically inert at vaporizer operating temperatures and emits no toxic fumes (UL 94 V-0 fire rating). Unlike air paths made of lower-grade plastics, PEEK maintains full dimensional and chemical stability even at continuous operation at 250°C, ensuring that inhaled air is not contaminated with plastic degradation products.

The housing of the device is made of Ultem (PEI), another engineering polymer with exceptional thermal and mechanical resistance, used in the aerospace and medical industries. Regular maintenance and cleaning of the air path with isopropanol keeps the inhaler fully clean for the life of the device.

Two modes of operation - session and on-demand

Session mode (40-220°C)

The heater maintains a constant temperature for the set time (timer 1-7 minutes). The dry remains heated between draws, which works well for quiet therapeutic dosing and longer inhalation sessions. Ideal for cannabis therapy patients who prefer slow vapor oozing at lower temperatures to maximize the terpene profile.

On-demand mode (40-240°C)

The heater activates only when the button is held and turns off immediately when the button is released. The dryness does not undergo thermal degradation between draws. This mode allows full extraction of the chamber in 1-3 strong draws and is preferred by medical marijuana users in need of rapid, intense dosing - for example, for immediate pain relief or anxiety attacks.

Adjustable airflow (0-25 l/min)

A rotary regulator located at the base of the mouthpiece allows you to smoothly adjust the draw resistance from zero to 25 liters per minute. Closed flow concentrates flavor and thickens vapor - great for cold temperatures and terpene sipping. Maximum open flow generates dense clouds of vapor at higher temperatures, which is compared by reviewers to the performance of desktop vaporizers (desktop vaporizers). Importantly, even when the flow is fully open, the vapor remains smooth thanks to a cooler with a total path length of more than 200 mm.

Modular design - repairability and durability

Limelight, as a manufacturer, is a pioneer of modularity in the vape industry - more than a decade ago it introduced fully modular mechanical mods. This experience has been directly transferred to the Frolic. The device consists of precision-milled CNC components connected by robust connectors that can be disassembled and assembled without tools. Every component - from the heater to the cooler to the Viton O-ring seals - is available as a spare part. A replaceable Molicel P50B 21700 battery (5000 mAh, enough for more than 10 sessions) eliminates the problem of scheduled aging. The cooler consists of only 3 parts, and all components are dishwasher safe. Cleaning accessories and spare O-rings and mesh can be found in our store.
