PAX 4 Onyx

The PAX 4 vaporizer is the first model in the main PAX line that combines conduction with convection in one hybrid heating system. The premiere took place in March 2026. The manufacturer declares up to 50% more steam than in the PAX Plus or PAX 3, while maintaining compact dimensions and simple, one-button operation.

How does a PAX 4 vaporizer work?

The PAX 4 vaporizer heats the dried fruit in two ways – from the walls of the stainless steel chamber (conduction) and with hot air flowing through the plant material during inhalation (convection). In practice, there is no need to mix the herbs during the session, and the extraction of cannabinoids and terpenes is uniform from the first to the last burst. The heating lasts 55-70 seconds, after which the device signals that it is ready with a vibration.

Grind the dried fruit in a grinder to a medium-fine fraction and pour it into a funnel-shaped chamber (max. 0.3 g). Knead the material slightly with the included multitool – not too hard so as not to block the airflow. A short press of the button turns on the device. Subsequent presses switch between temperature modes: 190°C for a flavor session, 200-210°C for flavor and density balance, 220°C for strong clouds. When you feel a vibration — the PAX 4 vaporizer is ready to inhale. Want to check your battery? Shake the device and the petal-shaped LEDs will show the remaining charge level.

What's included in the PAX 4 vaporizer kit?

In the box you will find: a flat and convex mouthpiece, a standard chamber cover, a mounted strainer and 3 spare ones, a wire brush, a multitool and a USB-C cable. PAX 4 works only with dried fruit — it does not handle concentrates. The device is compatible with PAX series accessories, m.in. silicone protective case and WPA adapters for bongs.

PAX 4 vaporizer – who will it work for?

PAX 4 is aimed at people who want dense, visible clouds and a clear effect without burning. Compared to the PAX Plus and PAX 3, the biggest difference is the hybrid heating – the steam is thicker and more aromatic, and the dried is roasted more evenly. With a weight of 125 g and dimensions of 10.75 × 3.60 cm, the device still fits in a trouser or jacket pocket, so it works well both at home and on the go.
