CANNABINOIDS IN THE TREATMENT OF EPILEPSY

(to neurologists and others interested in the use of marijuana in the treatment of epilepsy)

Contrary to what we can hear from various sources that we would like to consider reliable (including, unfortunately, also the Ministry of Health or several neurological societies operating in Poland), it is not true that there are no studies on the therapeutic use of cannabinoids in combating the symptoms of epilepsy. There are already a lot of texts on this subject in the professional literature.

Also when it comes to practical experience gained by doctors who treat epileptics with marijuana, the output is greater than it seems on Miodowa.

There is no reason why Polish patients should not be able to use what medical marijuana offers. ANY. Ideally, they should do it legally and under the supervision of a conscious doctor. The problem is that there are practically no such doctors in Poland (if we once hoped that one doctor Bachański would make spring, we have miscalculated ...) Because where are our doctors supposed to find out about the effects of marijuana? After all, not on medical universities concreted into certain types of knowledge, not on trainings organized by pharmaceutical manufacturers for pharmaceutical sellers. Fortunately, the twenty-first century also offers other possibilities.

Medical Marijuana

I would like to invite you to an online "course". The quotation marks come from the fact that it will rather indicate to you the sources of specialist knowledge on the topic discussed here. They are open to the public, but not always easy to find in the cavernous depths of the Web. The lecturers on the "course" will be scientists and practitioners, the language of instruction will be English.

If you are interested, I invite you for a little more information to the attached file. I ask everyone to spread this idea, because it will only make practical sense if there are more than 2 or 3 participants in the "course". There is probably nothing to count on official channels (although I will try), so informal channels remain. I ask doctors to notify their colleagues, patients – to notify their doctors.
