Illegal CBD oil factory liquidated

Officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police, at the beginning of the year, carried out actions as a result of which they discovered and liquidated an illegal laboratory in which, among other things, hemp oil was produced. The laboratory was located in a village near Turk.

The case reportedly began in January, when police received information that CBD oils could be produced on the premises of one of the houses in the Turkish county.

Officers searched the property of one of the outbuildings, where they discovered a production line that included equipment for extracting hemp oil. In addition, officers found intermediates and chemicals.

According to investigators, the illegal practice may have been operating since the middle of last year and consisted in the production of hemp oil, which was to be marketed as a legal substance, the so-called "medical marijuana".

In fact, a product containing in its composition, cannabinols CBD, delta-9 THC, where the content of delta-9 THC and carboxylic acid was above the legal limit of 0.2%.

The products were offered on online sales portals and described as an original and natural product.
